The 400kg Stone Basin — and Why the Cloakroom Deserves a Showstopper
Of all the things people notice in our home, it's the cloakroom that stops them. Specifically, the basin — a single piece of solid stone, carved as one, weighing the best part of 400 kilograms. It took several people to carry it in.

A cloakroom is the smallest room in the house, and most people give it the least thought. I think that's exactly why it's the best place to do something unexpected.
Sourcing the impossible
People always ask where I found it. The honest answer is that finding pieces like this is the part of my work I love most. I have a network of makers and stone ateliers around the world, and years of knowing exactly who to call. Most people don't know these pieces even exist — let alone where to get them. I do.
That's really what a sourcing agency is: access. The ability to track down the one-of-a-kind thing — a 400kg basin, a slab of backlit onyx, a hand-carved anything — and have it delivered to your door, wherever you are in the world.
So if there's a piece you've pictured but never been able to find anywhere, that's exactly where I come in.
