Chippensteel Chair 0.5 - True Colours Collection - Zieta

This futuristic Chippensteel Chair in Polished Inox by Polish designer Oskar Zieta echoes plastic furniture, but as it is made of steel it is extremely strong and surprisingly light.  The chair has been uniquely processed and produced in FiDU technology using the bending properties of steel sheets.  

The 2D form of this trendy chair is cut from metal sheets and goes through welding and inflating, becoming a three-dimensional chair. The finishing touch by the designer and craftsman gives it its final beauty.

Every metal chair has one of a kind details and folds that show us the true properties of used steel sheets.

The retro style of the metal chair is a very unique and revolutionary design. The chair, made of polished steel, thanks to its mirror surface, reflects light and the surroundings, focusing attention on itself and blending into space like a chameleon.

This visually stunning chair has been exhibited throughout the world. It is now part of the permanent display in some of the great museums of the world:- Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum for Gestalltung in Zurich.
