The Oyster Coffee Table by Jonathan Charles is handcrafted in walnut, with arches and twists to the legs. Its name comes from the wood parquetry along the outer edge of the surface, an effect described as oyster veneer. The focal feature is the eglomise inset, which involves gilding clear glass with gold or silver leaf for a mirror-like surface. At 133.5cm long, it is a statement table for a traditional living room.
