This centre table by Jonathan Charles, from the Knightsbridge collection, is veneered in richly figured crotch mahogany, with a circular top that shows the grain to full effect. A turned baluster column supports the top and flows into scrolling ebonised legs on a trefoil base, finished with carved and gilded lion's paw feet. At 91.5cm across and 76.6cm high, it suits an entrance hall, living room or reception space, where it can hold a large arrangement of flowers.
