A ceramic vase from the Black Label collection by Uttermost, In Touch is asymmetrical by design, shaped with a notched rim to let tall stems or reeds fall gracefully. Its artisan glaze contains crushed glass, which gives a speckled effect and a surface that invites touch. Influenced by California clay artists of the 1950s, it stands about 23 cm high and is scaled for a bookshelf, where it works well alone or grouped with books.
