A large round mirror by Jonathan Charles from the Toulouse range, 105 cm across, with a wood frame in walnut veneer sculpted and finished with a duck eggshell inlay. The technique is borrowed from ancient China, and brass fittings are cast in the Jonathan Charles foundry, acid dipped and hand rubbed to a rich, natural patina. Hang it above a console, mantel or sideboard for texture and light.
